Where To Go for Care

Different medical situations require different levels of care. Knowing whether to visit a primary care physician (PCP), an urgent care clinic, or an emergency room can ensure that you receive the appropriate level of medical attention. For example, life-threatening conditions such as heart attacks or severe injuries warrant a visit to the emergency room, while minor illnesses and injuries can be treated at a PCP office or an urgent care clinic.

Determining when and where to go for healthcare can save you time and money on your medical expenses. Please see the chart below to identify where to go to seek treatment for you and your family.

Now that you know where to go for medical care, please refer to the graph below to compare the care with the cost, helping you manage your own health and that of your family effectively.
